I feel fortunate that my love of horses and art have come together as a natural combination. My visual memory and many years of observation and hands-on experience in owning, riding and breeding horses, are vital when sculpting and portraying in paints my horses. Molded in clay are my emotions and love as well as knowledge of anatomy and horse psychology. I also feel blessed to be able to do something I truly love and I hope I can bring joy to those who come across my work. The bronze sculpture pictured is entitled "First Touch" and is in both corporate and private collections. (see "News" for another example of my work - this time, in pastel). Among my past commissions have been the bronze portrait of elite Arabian stallion, Ivanhoe Tsultan for Rohara Arabians in Orange, Florida, and portraits in bronze for Ms. Laurie McRee of Jackson, Mississippi. I am now focusing my artistic talent on the Spanish horse! Contact me about commissioned portraits in bronze, pastel and acrylic.
