| FABORITA (Lucero VIII x Debla V) is a striking 15.3 H black/bay (EEAa - bay, carries black, does NOT carry chestnut) mare bred by Los Madroños that we imported from Spain to TX in February 2006. Her sire Lucero VIII has been Champion of Spain and is also listed in the LIMPRE Book of Merits - the Who's Who book of famous horses. This mare is my husband's favorite since she has such a sweet personality and is so great with all the other foals. She watches over them better than their own mothers do. She passes on her fantastic personality to her foals. She has had 2 colts (2005 & 2006). A Substantial mare for her size. She stands next to Celtica (16.1 H) and you do not notice a difference in size. We have decided to sell Faborita ONLY because we lost our other imported mare Coliza to colic in October 2007. We just returned from a sales trip Spain with a client and have found a mare to replace Coliza. Unfortunately, we did not have her insured at the time of her death so in order to get the other mare I need to sell Faborita. This is the only reason she is for sale. Faborita is currently in-foal to an amazing black/bay CARDENAS branded stallion that we imported to Houston, TX. He has the most amazing movement we have ever seen! Foal will be either BLACK or bay. I'd prefer to sell Faborita without this foal. This stallion is not available to the public so this a rare opportunity to get one of his foals.
