Welcome to Yeguada Cielomar. We came into existence in 1997 with the purchase of a beautiful Andalusian Colt called Divino 12. We soon decided we needed a name for our stud that people would come to know. "Cielomar" is a word made up of two Spanish words - Cielo - meaning Sky or Heaven and Mar - meaning Sea of Earth. Roughly this means our little bit of Heaven on Earth.. Sadly Divino died as a two year old with Ataxia. We meanwhile purchased another filly from the same stud called Flores De Abril. A few years later we purchased two Foundation Broodmares in foal and we have gone on from strength to strength. We aim to breed true to type Spanish horses who will excel at all disciplines and with Superb temperaments. The embodiment of this is found in our youngster Kantiana IV who has been Reserve Champion twice.
