Yeguada Verdadero is located in Sydney, NSW, Australia, in a semi-rural location approx. 1 hr from the Sydney Business district and the International airport. Yeguada Verdadero is home to the imported PRE stallion Infante XXXVIII, bred by Yeguada Ovelar in Spain. Infante is listed on ANCCE's "Young Recommended Breeding Stock" list due to the strength of his sire, Lotero II's, predisposition to pass down fantastic dressage movement. Infante XXXVIII is currently in training here in Australia and is set to break into the warmblood-dominated dressage scene in 2009. Yeguada Verdadero will also be home to the mare Leyenda XXXVIII, arriving from Spain in 2009. Leyenda is by a bayo stallion of Conde Munoz lineage from a Cubas Stud mare. She has the most uphill, explosive movement, and will arrive in foal to PRE 'Isabella' stallion, Especial IV. Leyenda will join our other mare, La Querencia Pamperita, a dark bay 16hh Military/Granda line mare. The bloodlines we have include Military, Terry, Granda, Urquijo, Hierro del Bocado & Benitez. Our aim is to produce functional, well-moving horses suitable for dressage without altering the morphology or character of the breed.
